Flashback

Refers to the phenomenon where makeup looks great in person, but when a flash photo is taken, a white, powdery cast appears in certain areas.
Flashback is mainly caused by the following: the ingredient Silica (used in lots of HD powders), & using large amounts of concealer and powder that are too many shades lighter than your actual skintone. Some say that products that contain the natural susnscreens zinc & titanium dioxide in them do as well, but we don't believe this is as big of a culprit.

Pro Tip
Worried about flashback? Check the ingredients! If silica is one of the top 3 ingredients, steer clear! Also, make sure you use concealers & powders that are only a shade or two lighter than your skintone, and skip 'baking'. If you want to be extra careful avoid zinc & titanium dioxide as well.
